Utah’s Health Workforce Advisory Council

On March 23, 2022, Governor Spencer Cox signed bill HB-176, which created Utah’s Health Workforce Advisory Council (HWAC). The Council is charged with providing information and recommendations to help expand and strengthen Utah’s health workforce. The HWAC is chaired by the Department of Health and Human Services’ Executive Director, Tracy Gruber, and has fourteen additional members from both state and private entities. The council meetings are public, so we invite any interested parties to join.
